Netscape Messenger Email Setup

1. Open Netscape

2. From the Edit menu, select Preferences

3. You will now see the Netscape Preferences window. On the left hand Category side, click on the + (plus) next to Mail & Newsgroups. Then click Identity

 4. Enter your name in the Your Name field

5. Enter your email address in the Email Address field

6. Under Category, click on Mail Servers

7. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, enter mail.igalaxy.net

8. In the Outgoing mail server user name field, enter your email address without the "@igalaxy.net" extention (if your email address is "friend@igalaxy.net, your outgoing mail server username will be "friend".)

9. Click the Add button at the top. This will open the incoming mail server properties.

10. In the Server Name field, enter mail.igalaxy.net

11. In the Server Type field, select POP3 Server

12. In the User Name field, enter your POP3 User Name (this will be your email address without the "@igalaxy.net" extention. If your email address is "friend@igalaxy.net, your POP3  username will be "friend".)

13. Check the Remember Password checkbox. Click OK

Netscape mail is now configured.
